Rays of Hope Children's Grief Centre is a community outreach of HospiceMidland. We work with school aged children 5 years to 18 years who have suffered a loss due to death, divorce, or other painful transition. Our Mission Statement: To meet the unique needs of grieving children and their families. We recognize at Rays of Hope, that children need to do the work of grief, and we focus primarily on peer support groups. Rays of Hope provides a safe, neutral environment where grieving children have permission to express what they feel, and learn that they are not alone in dealing with the tough circumstances life sometimes brings.
