Camps

Each summer, camps are offered as a way for kids to engage with their peers in a fun and dynamic environment, while learning skills to cope with the losses and changes that they have experienced. Camps are divided by age group and prior HopeWorks attendance. Pre-registration is required for each camp, so please call to reserve your spot and return your registration at least one week priorto the first day of camp.

M.A.D. Camp

M.A.D. Camp utilizes the expressive arts of Music, Art, and Drama as tools of exploration and coping with children who have experienced a loss or painful transition in their lives. MAD Camp is for children who completed grades K-6 the prior semester. Each day of camp includes opening and closing activities, discussion time, snacks, and music, art and drama activities

Journey Camp

Journey Camp is for children who have previously attended Rainbows or HopeWorks. Each day of camp includes new activities, arts and crafts, group recreation, music, discussion time, and snacks. Come journey with us and explore the jungle of anger, the forest of fears, the island of hope, challenge mountain, and the city of change!

Teen Time

Teen Time is for students who have completed grades 7-12 and who have experienced a loss or painful transition. It is a chance for teens to join with a group of peers who are also experiencing losses and changes and to realize you are not the only one! Each day includes fun, games, challenges, discussions, problem solving and snacks as we experience together: The Great American Race, Fear Factor, It’s a Mad Mad World, and Survivor!
